Candy Socks
pdf download-pattern in English
Candy Socks are worked in the round using dpns. Work starts at the shaft and continues down toward the toe. Candy Socks are worked in pattern over the leg and instep, with a stockinette-stitch heel and toe. The heel is a gusset heel, followed by stockinette stitch on the sole. Finally, the sock is finished with toe decreases. Candy Socks are worked in a delicate , wavy lace pattern interspersed with cables that create an attractive fan effect at the top of the sock.
Sizes:
EU shoe size: 37 (38) 39 (40) 41
UK shoe size: 4.5 (5.5) 6.5 (7.5) 8.5
US shoe size: 6.5 (7.5) 8.5 (9.5) 10.5
Size Guide:
Candy Socks can be knitted in EU shoe sizes 37 - 41. The stitch count in the circumference of the sock is the same for all sizes, but the length is varied to adjust the size. Sizes below 37 and above 41 are not included, as the pattern repeat does not allow this. You can play around with changing the stitch count if you would like a narrower or a wider sock. Always try the sock before knitting the toe.
