Line Skirt
pdf download-pattern in English
Line Skirt is a knitted skirt with a length just below the knee. It is knitted with 1 strand of Dansk Pelsuld 8/2 held together with 1 strand of Kashmir Lux.
The skirt itself is knitted crosswise. You start with a ribbed button band, then you knit a stripe pattern consisting of knit and purl rows, all the way around, and finally you finish with a ribbed buttonhole band. When the entire wide piece is knitted, you pick up and knit stitches along the top edge, and you work in a rib stitch pattern with decreases towards the waistband. Since the skirt is worked crosswise, with picked up stitches along the top edge, it is very easy to adjust the size.
Line Skirt is very easy to knit, as you only work in knit and purl stitches, without any difficult techniques.
Line Skirt is assembly-free.

Size-guide:
Line Skirt should fit snugly around the hips. The hip measurement is right below the hip bone, and not quite at the widest point. Line Skirt should have a negative ease of approx. 5-10 cm / 2-4". Therefore, choose to knit the skirt in a size with a hip measurement of approx. 5-10 cm / 2-4" smaller than your own.
Sizes XS (S) M (L) XL (2XL) 3XL (4XL) corresponds to a hip measurement of approx.:
84-89 (90-95) 95-100 (100-105) 106-111 (111-116) 117-122 (123-128) cm / 33-35 (35.5-37.5) 37.5-39.5 (39.5-41,5) 42-43.5 (43.5-45.5) 46-48 (48.5-50.5)"
